Readable account of the first half of their circumnavigation, but did this really need to be a 2-volume series? Seems a bit of an unnecessary cash-grab for authors who are obviously uber-wealthy already. I enjoyed it enough that I might eventually get the second volume regardless. But all in all it remains an interesting and readable account of the sailing adventures of the upper 0. BACK AT THE HELM — SAILING THE YANGHAN TO ANTARCTICA, PATAGONIA AND THE SOUTH PACIFIC
Everybody is exposed to and affected by a great deal of data and information all the time. What should I take to heart and what should I ignore? Onboard a boat circumnavigating the world information is managed by satellite, which is extremely expensive. In other words, it becomes very important to focus and prioritize.
What should I read or follow? Who should I talk to? And how can I achieve maximum benefit from the information flow? The same vital questions any busy manager would have. However, like stated above, the books provide many useful insights with regard to leadership.
